Geoff Ryan is an award-winning film director. His feature film FRAY released theatrically to rave reviews with the LA Times saying, "Superior... packs a punch" and has been listed as one of the top 15 films on Amazon's "War & Military" movies and #2 under “Indie Arthouse” in the UK. His music videos and television commercials have aired on broadcast both nationally and across the globe for clients such as Macy's and Lord & Taylor.
Geoff Ryan grew up in the Pacific Northwest and by his teens had already had his artwork featured in an "Emerging Artists" exhibit at the Portland Art Museum and won two awards at the Northwest Film Center's "Young People's Film Festival". It was that experience which opened his eyes to the power of filmmaking to touch hearts and impact social change which continues to be the motivating force behind the films he makes. He studied fine arts for a year at Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design in Vancouver, BC before moving to New York City to pursue filmmaking. His early music videos aired globally on MTV. Since then, his directorial work in commercials have been seen around the world and he’s created and directed numerous diverse brand campaigns.
Recently, Ryan has worked in the emerging medium of social live videos as creative director on projects for numerous Netflix shows, PopSugar, and many more.
